- Collection and return:
The customer is obliged to return the bicycle in the condition in which it was received from this point within the stated time specified upon receipt.
– Warranty:
For security reasons, rental is prohibited without the presentation of an official identification document with a photo of the interested party (indicatively: ID card/Passport/Driving license). It is necessary to use a credit/debit card to rent a bicycle, even if the rental is paid in cash. This payment will be at least €1.00 and with this act the customer accepts these bicycle rental terms.
The customer is obliged to pay the minimum cost of 15,00€ as a deposit. If the bicycle is returned after 5 hours, the price will be adjusted for the hours extending the minimum usage.
– Restrictions:
- The customer rides the bicycle at his own risk. The customer must check the bicycle and the equipment before use, in order to make any claims regarding unsatisfactory material.
- The customer is responsible for any damage or wear and tear that the bicycle may suffer during this rental and is obliged to immediately repair this damage upon its return.
- Evangelos Karachalios with VAT number 109155005 (hereinafter referred to as Pedaluxe for the sake of brevity) bears no responsibility for any damage to the customer’s personal property, e.g. bags, glasses, cameras, clothes, etc.
- The customer is obliged to use the bicycle prudently, to comply with public safety rules, the provisions for safe driving and the Road Traffic Code.
- It is prohibited to rent and use bicycles to people who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medications that affect the ability to drive.
- Pedaluxe has the right to refuse to rent any bicycle to people who are allegedly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs and/or stimulants.
- Regardless of the above, the store has the right to prohibit the entry and rental of any person it deems necessary, without being obliged to justify its decision.
- The customer is recommended to use a helmet and a lock with each rental. The use of a helmet and a lock is provided freely and freely by Pedaluxe to the customer with each rental. The lessee is obliged to return the additional equipment upon delivery of the bicycle in the condition in which it was received.
- Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or an accompanying adult.
– Administrative costs
In case of total destruction, loss or theft of the bicycle during the rental period, the customer must compensate Pedaluxe with the corresponding amount, as determined by the current prices on the date of the event from the official ORIENT website (orient-bikes.gr). In case of wear and tear of a spare part of the bicycle during the rental period, the customer must compensate Pedaluxe with the corresponding amount, as determined by the current prices on the date of the event from the official ORIENT website (orient-bikes.gr).
- Insurance
All e-bicycles that are in possession of Pedaluxe are insured for wear or damage to third parties and also for the case of injury of third parties.
– Payment Methods
Payment for services at our store can be made in cash or by debit or credit card.
*For companies and group rentals that require an invoice, payment can also be made via bank transfer.
By paying for the bicycle rental, the corresponding rental contract is agreed upon, which contains the above terms and conditions. Without accepting the above terms and conditions, the rental cannot be carried out.
